Week 1: Getting back in the swing of it
I wish i could say i've had a long relaxing summer break but it’s been plagued with work and placement. It’s not all bad though i did learn a lot during my time on placement and have been given an insight into the industry and perhaps something i hadn’t thought about. I had hoped this course would give me something like that, something that would make me think about my career choices. In this first post i will be talking about getting back into university life and how placement has helped me prepare for this year. I have to admit i haven’t had much experience in the industry and that is holding me back so to get my first taste this summer was scary but also exciting. Editing has always been an area in which i have gravitated towards and going into this placement thats what i knew i would be doing but for some reason it was still terrifying.
